Millet Ven Pongal


Ingredients

  • Kodo millet rice - 125g

  • Little millet rice - 125g

  • Barnyard millet rice - 125g

  • Foxtail millet rice - 125g

  • Green gram dhal -300g

  • Cashew nut - 100g

  • Curry leaves - 20g

  • Cumin - 30g

  • Pepper - 30g

  • Ginger - 20g

  • Salt - as required

  • Oil - as required

Method

  • Fry all the ingredients except rice with ghee.

  • Cook the millet rice with three parts of water.

  • Cook one part of instant pongal mix
