Ruchi Jain

Founder, Social Entrepreneur

Ruchi is an ardent environmentalist who studied MSc Environment Change & Management from Oxford University. In the past she worked in a World Bank project, 'Access to Energy' with the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy , has been Consultant with the European Acadamies Sciences Council and has traveled extensively as a grassroots worker. Ruchi started her work early days schooling in J-Krishnamurti schools. She is a yoga, meditation practitioner and an Art of Living Natural Farming National trainer.

Awarded 15 Women Transforming India Niti Aayog, 50 GQ Most Influential Young Indians, Iconic Women Award- Womens Economic Forum. Read more on

Dr Punam Jain

Health Chef, Writer

Punam is a practicing naturopath, writer, social worker, environment activist, and develops her own herbal formulas. She is currently working on compiling and applying her knowledge and experiences into books, and various social health projects. At TARU, Dr Punam is a consultant on health queries, food innovation, content, food quality, and she writes for the Health Blog. Mom develops products of TARU in her free time. We also call her a Village Doctor, since she has a treasure trove of knowledge. 


Nikhil Gawai

Marketing Manager

Nikhil is a Management  graduate and has been a part of Taru since past 4 years. He is a Tech Enthusiast and an avid music lover. At Taru he handles sales & marketing.

Manjeeri Niwate


Manjeeri is a commerce graduate & holds experience of 8 years in accounts. She is an extremely cheerful & joyful person; highly efficient at her work. She is passionate about food & cooking. At TARU Manjeeri handles entire accounts department.


Ruksar Khan

Operations Manager

Ruksar, our amazing Operations Manager is a BMS graduate from SNDT College. She is smart, efficient and has managed our back-end seamlessly for years now. 


Bhoopati Mudliyar

Bhoopathi Mudaliyar all of  5.1", may look petite but when it comes to his work, he does make a big difference. Always smiling whatever be the situation. Great asset to have on the team.Bhoopathi has a total of 10 years of work experience including tele calling, admin, and packaging. Previous Employee: Kotak Life Insurance, Big basket.

Janki Vishwakarma

A fun loving Mother, who makes the best Coffee. And is extremely good at processing grains , cleaning, grading, packing , and filling in TARU warehouse.  We also call her Janki Radio, since she plays the best music & loves singing along.

Anita Lingam 

Newest member on our team. Anita is responsible for cleaning our office, and keeping it spotless & sanitary. She does cleaning, sorting, grading & packaging along with Laxmi Aunty & Janki.
