Black Rice Kheer

How to Cook?

Easy to cook. Not necessary to soak longtime. Water and cooking time required is similar to white rice. Cooked black rice is soft, palatable with a nutty taste. It can be eaten like regular rice with dal, curd, as a sweet, porridge, pancakes, (cheela, Dosa) & noodles.

Method:


Boil 1 cup rice without salt. Blend half the rice in a mixture with milk or water. Add 2 cups milk. Mix and cook. Add jaggery powder to taste and 1 tbs sundried raisins, Cardamom powder, saffron, nuts etc. serve hot or cooled.
