Food of the Kings! Long Life Rice! Perfect Blend of Health & Flavor. Can be eaten like Regular Rice with Dal, Curd. Risotto, Khichdi, Pancakes, Dosa, Idli, Noodles, Bread. Snacks like Cutlets, Desserts eg. Sweet Porridge, Payasam, Kheer, Mousse, Cakes, Fudge, Biscuit. Best to Soak Overnight Before Use.
Black Rice Salad
Boil 1 cup Black rice in 2-3 cups of Water. Add Chopped Vegetables, Herbs, Ginger, Turmeric Powder, Lemon Juice, 1 tbsp Roasted Mixed Seeds. Temper Mustard Seeds, Cumin, Crushed Peppers or Curry Leaves in Little Oil or Ghee & Mix with Black Rice. Serve.How to Cook Black Rice - Take 1 bowl of Black rice, Wash. Soak in clay pot in three times more water than quantity of rice for 10 minutes to 1 hour. Use same water for cooking.
While cooking, add 1 tsp Taru Desi Gir Cow Ghee and Himalayan Pink Salt to taste. Bay leaves and Spices add to flavour. Cover with clay dhakkan.
When little water is remaining in the rice, switch off the gas and leave covered, to simmer in own steam. Leave covered.

Once packet is opened, store in glass jar or air tight plastic jar. Consume quickly or Refrigerate. Organic grain catches weevils easily. Composting organic produce is the best option if spoiled.
