bumper aromatic, harvest. Grown, Cleaned & processed by Bibari's Women's self help group in Goalpara, Assam.We are in constant touch with their women's group. We source joha, gobind bhog, black rice, black pepper all from their farmers group.
Initially they bought and hired an auto for income generation and sold it off. Now Bibari's farmers group sells their farm produce to Taru Naturals.

Boiled Rice served with dal, vegetable curry, soup, salads, risotto,
rice cakes, Idli and dosa batter. Best for oriental Japanese, Korean dishes etc.How to Cook Bora Saul Rice - Take 1 bowl of Bora rice, Wash. Soak in clay pot in three times more water than quantity of rice for 10 minutes to 1 hour. Use same water for cooking.
While cooking, add 1 tsp Taru Desi Gir Cow Ghee and Himalayan Pink Salt to taste. Bay leaves and Spices add to flavour. Cover with clay dhakkan.
When little water is remaining in the rice, switch off the gas and leave covered, to simmer in own steam. Leave covered.
Regular boiled rice recipe: wash and soak for 5 to 15 minutes. Boil in a covered vessel in water – 3:1 or pressure cook for 2-3 whistles, water – 2:1
Jolpan Recipe: Wash and soak bora rice for 5-6 hours. Boil for 10-15 minutes. Add fresh coconut, jaggery and cardamom powder. Mix and serve.
Bora rice is rich in starch, protein, vitamin, and minerals
(Anwar, et al., 2011). Immunity booster, regulates diabetes, reduces inflammation & optimizes digestion. Recommended for pregnant women, heart problem and anemic people (Dutta J. K. et al., 2015).Once packet is opened, store in glass jar or air tight plastic jar. Consume quickly or Refrigerate. Residue-free produce catches weevils easily. Composting produce is the best option if spoiled.
