Hummus, Tahini, Burgers, Cutlets, Wraps or just Roast, Ready to Eat as a Snack.Punjabi Chana Curry
Wash and soak 2 cups of Kabuli Chana overnight or for 6-8 hours. Use same soaked water to boil until soft.
For seasoning - Splutter 1 tbs cumin/jeera in 1-2 tbs Taru A2 Desi Cow Ghee/Oil and stir fry Chopped onions, ginger, garlic (optional), 2-3 Bay Leaves, a Cinnamon stick, 1-2 Cloves, 1 Black Cardamom, till light brown. Add 1 tbs Tamarind Paste, 1 tsp Anar dana Powder, 1 tsp Garam Masala, 1 tbs Coriander Powder, 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder, 1 small finely chopped/pounded Green Chilli. Cook till well mixed. Now add 1 cups Tomato Puree (2 tomatoes pureed in the mixer) & cook till done. Add Boiled Chickpea. Additionally, add water if too thick & boil for 2-3 minutes. Garnish with Green Coriander/Herbs/a little Ghee tempered with Red Chilli Powder. Serve Hot with Chapati, Naan, Bhathura, Kulcha or Rice.
Recipe: Basic Hummus
Firstly, Fry Roast 2 tbsp Sesame seeds on low flame till it turns golden brown. Blend to fine powder. Now in a blender take 1 cup Chickpea / Chana. Add in 3 Clove Garlic, ¼ tsp Cumin Powder, ½ Lemon, ½ tsp TARU Himalayan Salt, 2 tbsp Roasted Sesame Seeds Powder. Blend to smooth paste adding ¼ cup TARU Sesame oil. Garnish with a ½ tsp sesame oil & sprinkle TARU Red Chilli Powder (optional). Serve Hummus with falafel or as a dip to vegetables.High quality protein, rich in dietary fiber. excellent source of
