SWEET PONGAL

Ingredients

Kodo millet rice - 100 g

Little millet rice -100g

Barnyard millet rice -100g 

Fox tail millet rice -100g

Green gram dhal - 200 g

Jaggery/sugar - 300 g

Cashew - 50 g

Raisins - 50 g

Ghee - as required

Cardamom - as required

Method

 Boil water in a pressure cooker and dissolve jaggery in it.

 Add millet rice, dhal and allow it to cook well.

 Roast cashew nuts, cardamom and raisins in ghee and add to the cooked pongal.

 Sweet pongal is ready to serve.
