Ruchi read MSc Environment Change & Management from Oxford University. In the past she worked with Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, European Academies Sciences Council and as Campaigner with 350.org and Indian Youth Climate Network. She has traveled extensively as a grassroots worker and started her work in her early days with upbringing and schooling in J-Krishnamurti schools. She has been a recipient of several awards including the Women's Economic Forum Award, for outstanding work uplifting small farmers in Taru movement of farmers. Taru Naturals is a recipient of the Unlimited India Fellowship and has been incubated with SPJMIR & Sri Sri Institute of Agricultural Sciences & Technology.
Punam is a practicing naturopath, writer, social worker, environment activist, and develops her own herbal formulas. She is currently working on compiling and applying her knowledge and experiences into books, and various social health projects.
